SAY UNCLE!

uncle jazzy whitebass here for all the fans that are wondering where I have been.  Been having some issues with the comp and unable to broadcast, but we are working on it and i should be up in a couple of weeks.  Just wanted to share whats been on my mind recently musically and spread a little insight out into the world.  recently i’ve been really digging DUBSTEP which for those unfamiliar is an english (england) form of dance music heavily influenced by reggae and dub with a bit of a hip hop taste as well.  VERY VERY CRUNCH BASS so for all my bass heads out there you should check it out.  In particular Jazzsteppa, their self titled album is rich is groovable so everybody should hear it… if i had my show already you would be.  other news is regarding K’naan, a somali born, Canadain raised rapper who has done work with Damian marley, Wale,  and M1 of Dead Prez fame.  His most recent mixtape with producer J.Period titled The Messengers (Trilogy) is a, surprise, tribute to Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, and Bob Dylan and everybody should check it out, I know its early in the year but it is already being considered the best mixtape of the new decade, you can hear it at www.jperiod.com/knaan and its really amazing commenting on the effect of these revolutionary musicans.  If you don’t know them, and by them i mean Fela Kuti, go to wikipedia RIGHT NOW.  Thats all for the uncle more news on new music soon including bashy, some house, gorillaz, new RJD2, Little Dragon, and much much more, so if it gets to be too much JUST SAY UNCLE!
