Blue Sky Noise
Three long years after the release of “On Letting Go,” Circa Survive has officially announced the release date of their third full-length entitled: “Blue Sky Noise.”
The album is set to drop on April 20, 2010, and will be the band’s Atlantic Records debut. David Bottrill (Muse, Silverchair) produced the full-length, and it was mixed by Rick Costey (Interpol, Bloc Party, Mew). The album art was completed by New York’s Esao Andrews, who has done the artwork for all band’s previous releases.
In even more exciting news, the band has also released what can only be assumed as the album’s first single, which is titled “Get Out.”
Without a doubt, the song is driven by the intensely powerful vocals courtesy of frontman Anthony Green. The musicianship (especially the guitars) is also as solid as ever, and displays a full on rhythmic roller coaster.
Pre-orders for the album have also gone up on the band’s website (www.circasurvive.com), and dates for their Spring plans have also surfaced. Give “Get Out” a listen, and get excited for this release.
