if you’re gonna do it, do it

Florida’s Surfer Blood recently put out their debut “Astro Coast,” and boy, it’s a doozy. When you listen to the first three tracks, which includes the single “Swim,” you’ll notice that it’s almost too difficult to continue listening to the rest of the album, mainly because they are so addicting.

Once you manage to dive into the remainder of the album, you’ll find it to be a sun-drenched, reverb-filled journey that takes you on a trip down memory lane.

The band’s sound is very reminiscent to the early 90’s, indie-grunge movement, with a sound that can be compared to the likes of: Weezer, Pavement, Dinosaur Jr., and Built to Spill.

If any of those bands caught your interest, don’t take my word for it, and go and check out “Astro Coast” or see this band live.
