Alive In Bed-Stuy with Spencer Keasey Scanlon

Hey yall!

What’s shakin? My name is Spencer Keasey Scanlon, host of Alive In Bed-Stuy, and one of the newer DJs here at audiocandy+radio. Just wanted to take a moment to thank Paige & the team for letting me hijack the airwaves every Wednesday from 12-3pm from now on. Our first broadcast last week was a ton of fun, minus a few technical difficulties.

Sooo…a little more about me, ehh? I’m a total audiophile; I’ve been living in Brooklyn, while working in the music industry now for the better part of 4 years. Currently, I do PR for Pitchfork.tv and the Young Robots record label, cover events for The Village Voice, on top of managing two amazing artists here in Brooklyn…I also organize shows a lot, whether house shows here in my living room, or at any of the great venues that Brooklyn has to offer. Other than that, I’m 26ish, drink too much, sleep too little, love music + adventures + life (and our puppy Foxy Brown).

My radio show will predominantly focus on the vast array of music that Brooklyn has to offer right now. My palette is all over the place, so you’ll never quite know what’s coming up next…I suggest tuning in to find out!
